The Italian League .. Napoli may officially be crowned with the title before facing Udinese and a barren march for Juventus

In an exceptional season, Napoli is on the brink of winning its first title in the Italian Football League in 33 years, despite its failure to win at home earlier this week, and it may not even have to play to win the championship, to launch long-awaited celebrations in the city.

The league leaders lead by 18 points over their closest pursuers, with only 6 matches remaining in the season, and will be crowned champions if Lazio (second-placed) fails to beat Sassuolo at the Olympic Stadium tomorrow, Wednesday, the day before Napoli's match away to Udinese.

Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti said his previously indomitable team had struggled after a difficult month in April, when they won just two wins in seven games in all competitions and were knocked out of the Champions League.

"We lack the efficiency and quality that we had earlier in the season, because it is just like a marathon in which the last kilometer is always the hardest in the race," he added.

Depending on Lazio's result, Spalletti said he may rest the senior players, while Matteo Politano and Mario Rui are likely to miss the game due to injury.

Udinese may try to spoil Napoli's celebrations, just as Salernitana did earlier this week by getting points from a prominent competitor in a lackluster campaign for the team, which currently occupies 13th place, and is not afraid of relegation and is far from European centers.
